AhrSteig

The quality trail offers a special hiking experience from its water source in Blanken-heim to where the river Ahr flows into the Rhine. 
Get to know the attractive and diverse landscape of the Ahr valley on a muti- day hike along the AhrSteig from its source in the Eifel to where it flows into the Rhine.

Stages

  1. Arrival in Blankenheim (also possible with the Deutsche Bahn by train) 
  2. Blankenheim - Aremberg (21km)
  3. Aremberg - Insul (20km)
  4. Insul - Altenahr (21km)
  5. Altenahr - Walporzheim (19km along the red wine trail)
  6. Walporzheim- Bad Neuenahr / Ahrweiler (13km)
  7. Bad Neuenahr / Ahrweiler - Sinzig (21km) (departure for additional night possible)
