The Adventure exhibition “Wildnis(t)räume” (Wilderness dreams) within the forum Vogelsang IP allows you to get a closer look at the traces of biological diversity. 

Be fascinated by the attractive impressions and find out more about the local and global natural diversity by visiting the 2000 square metre large premises of the Eifel National Park Centre.

Wildnis(t)räume (Wilderness dreams)

Young and old can be amazed, discover and explore, or simply relax and enjoy this exhibition. The “Wilderness dreams” exhibition has something to offer for the whole family. You will find modern exhibitions and a pleasant atmosphere, stations for testing and playing, tactile models and preserved animals, plant scents to smell, audio and animal sounds to listen to, and many new perspectives that focus on nature.

Starting your trip “From the crown to the root” through the beech forest, you learn about the underwater worlds of the Eifel and explore the senses of various animals. You will get an impression of the varity of species, the local development and survival strategies, and the “Zauber der Wildnis” (magic of the wilderness). The exciting journey along the traces of the biodiversity leads you from the Eifel to distant continents - in German, English, French, and Dutch.
 

Vogelsang IP

Before or after your visit to the “Wilderness dreams” exhibition, you should also visit Vogelsang IP and its NS-Documentation about its troubled history. In the visitor centre you will find more information and a shop, a restaurant, or you can go for a hike. From the panorama room in the “Wilderness dreams” exhibition, you will have a wonderful view of “Urftsee” (lake Urft), the densely forested mountain slopes and the open valleys of the Eifel National Park.
