Get the better of daily life
Higher, faster, further…that is also the North Eifel! Switch your mind off and adventure on! That’s how to make your holiday an exciting adventure.
The Arboretum is a unique obstacle course in the wild nature of the Eifel. In the middle of a forest with fully-grown and also exotic groves, an approximately 900m long challenging course with around 25 obstacles is waiting for beginners and daredevils.
If you rise into the sky above the Dahlemer Binz, the North Eifel shows its most beautiful sights. The motorised and glider air fields are a dream for air sports enthusiasts. It is possible to parachute down from heights of over 4000m onto the landing strip. Specially trained parachute instructors accompany you on tandem jumps. You can experience a freefall at 200kmh as a passenger.
Situated next to the Dahlemer Binz air fields, there is Germany’s longest go-kart racing track; approximately 1000m long. Go-kart drivers really feel at home here. There is a maximum amount of racing fun with long straights and bends which invite you to overtake on.
The only climbing and zip-line park of its kind in the Cologne /Bonn/Aachen city triangle awaits you at the Zülpich Lake Park. Fly up to 40kmh as free as a bird over the Zülpich Lake and enjoy climbing on two different courses of differing heights with a view to the Eifel. Wonderful fun for all ages!
Two zip-line tree top gardens in the Eifel are a special attraction for all ages: at the Hellenthal Youth Hostel and in Nettersheim (Natural treetop garden). Up higher and higher with no fear of heights, not for the faint-hearted.
