Roman Canal Trail as a location or a long distance hike
The 120 kilometre long Roman Canal Trail from Nettersheim to Cologne follows the route of the Eifel Roman Aqueduct. About 50 information panels are installed along the way. Obtain a useful companion in form of a free printable pocket guide and an archeo-logical hiking guide. The hosts along the Roman Canal Trail invite to spend the night.

When you hike the Roman Canal Trail you roam the beautiful landscape from the North Eifel to Cologne and you get to experience the large scale construction of the Romans up close. Because the railway runs parallel to the hiking trail you have the opportunity to easily return to the starting point of your hike.
The packages are available as "day trips" or as "long distance hikes".
