In addition to cultural offers Euskirchen also offers opportunities to be active, and a wide range of shopping possibilities. A nicely designed cosy pedestrian precinct, that stretches from the railway station through the centre of town to the Old Market Square. There you can relax and refresh yourself in the cafés and restaurants with out-door seating. 

Visitors who want to go shopping can come to Euskirchen from Cologne, Bonn and the Eifel easily by train or by car.  Three central multi-storey car parks near the shopping precinct offer plenty of parking spaces.

There are regular Sunday openings in Euskirchen during festive times of the year, for example Christmas markets, which bring life to the pedestrian precinct and make the town an attractive place to go shopping in the North Eifel.
