Nettersheim Archaeological Landscape Park
The Archaeological Landscape Park brings into view the Roman settlement of Nettersheim: matronly holy figures, residential houses, business and public buildings in addition to fortresses. Observation and resting places within the beautiful landscape give you a view over the construction site, which stretches along the Roman road Cologne-Trier, the Agrippa Road.
A 4km long circular trail connects the Eifel Nature Centre, also the starting point of the Roman Canal Hiking Trail, to the Archaeological Landscape Park. The Landscape Park is included in the “Roman road Adventure Region”.
