Euskirchen Town Museum
The Town Museum invites you to an exciting journey through time with Euskirchen’s town history. With its numerous exhibits such as legionary helmets, motorbikes or cinema seats history comes alive. The historical town wall from the 13th and 14th century is integrated into the museum in the Kulturhof and is partially laid open. With this the museum is directly situated between the old and new town of Euskirchen.
The start of the permanent exhibition is a model of the town, which shows the town before
industrialisation in the 19th century. The museum’s permanent exhibition provides information about Euskirchen and its districts, presenting the historical development of the Roman period to the present day.
The exhibition “Heritage of Euskirchen town” shows exciting historical photos and objects from its ever-changing history of the 20th century. Numerous media stations offer oral and visual aids.
The museum shows special exhibitions with the topics of art, culture and heritage on a regular basis.
