Rheinland Wildlife Park
Who has seen inhabitants of the forest or birds of prey, like the bald eagle, up close?
By visiting the Hellenthal Birds of Prey Compound/Wildlife Park, you can observe various types of deer, fallow deer, sika deer, roe deer, and mouflon. Various predator species such as the raccoon dog, the stone marten, the lynx, and wildcats also live in the Hellenthal Birds of Prey Compound.
A special highlight is the daily birds of prey flight show. You will see various birds of prey and owls, from pygmy owls to giant Andes condors.
The children can get up close with traditional farm animals in the children’s area, which also has an adventure playground.
At the Rhineland Wildlife Park you can breathe the scent of the forest, the animals, and the meadows. Experience more than 300 wild animals such as deer, fallow deer, elk, wild boar, ibex, steppe cattle, and many others. The close encounters with the wild animals in the 84 hectare reserve is a special experience. An adventure playground and bbq facilities are also available.
In both wildlife parks, varied programs and events take place throughout the year.
